What Happened!!!

Recently Jake and I just got home from a wonderful weekend in Boise! We were loving being with family!! We got to see my cute little niece who is ADORABLE!! She has grown up sooo much and is loving to talk! She will call Jake, "JJ" and my name is "Silba!" Short for Lyssa:)  This trip back to Boise, I couldn't help myself from looking at all the pictures that Jake's mom keeps in her house. During the trip down memory lane, one phrase popped in my mind: What Happened!!!  Jake's little brother Conner is not so little anymore. I can't believe how grown up he is!!! He is an all-star athlete who is only a Freshman and is playing JV and Varsity in three sports!!  Once upon a time, I used to be the girl who made Conner blush, but he has since moved on to cuter girls:) I just can't believe it!!! My little man is just that...a Man! 

Conner, I love you and miss you everyday!!!! Keep working hard and always do the right thing, and you will continually be blessed!!! And I can't close a post without telling my hubby how much I love him!! I love you babe!!

An Avid Jazz Fan

Ok I just had to share this.  Anyone who is anyone, and knows my mother, knows that she is an avid Jazz fan.  She is the type that will be in a horrible mood if the Jazz lose.  My Dad has become one of those who attend Jazz games that just quietly cheers because my mom screams and yells loud enough for the both of them.  Her biggest pet peeve, is those who come into the "Jazz" arena wearing and cheering for the other team.  When I married Jake, I married one who likes the team a Jazz fan despises... The Bulls. And no matter how much we try to make him cross over, there is no budging.  Anyway, last week, Jake and I brought Conner (Jake's younger brother) and his mom to the Miami Heat game.  And both Jake and Conner wore opposing team jerseys.  Here is the aftermath!

MONTH 3!!!

I can't believe how fast time is flying.  I know only 3 months doesn't sound like a long time to most people, but for Jake and myself, time is going by so quickly!  We are almost finished with school for the semester!!! I am so proud of how quickly Jake has adjusted to school and he is doing really well.  Me....you can say I have senior senior senior-its!! I am soooo ready to be done and finished with school forever!!! I know that going into the Health and Fitness industry requires continuing education, but I think if it is something I love and get paid to do, it is worth it! 

Spring break is just around the corner.  And as most college students are planning fun adventurous trips, we are planning to see family :)  We don't get to see Jake's family nearly as often as we like, so we are heading to Boise for a few days!! I can't wait!!!! Getting out of Logan is one of my favorites! I love Logan by all means, but every once in awhile I like to get away!

Life is moving along great! Jake and I are starting to make friends that are "our friends!" It is really fun! We love to meet new people and make new friends! I miss all my girls, but I know that they are still enjoying the single life! But it doesn't hurt to have a little girl time every once in awhile!!

Month 2!

     So Jake and I have been married for two months now!!!! Time is flying by! Jake and I are enjoying being married! My schooling is ALMOST done:) I just finished my comprehensive exams....and I Passed!! 1 week, 30 pages.  Not a fun week.  But I did it!!! Jake is getting the hang of school again.  He has a ton of school on Tuesdays and Thursdays and works Monday, Wednesday, and Friday for 8 hours! He is awesome!!!

     We spent our first month with a lot of family.  Jake and I spent Christmas this year with Jake's family! It was so fun to see all the cute family traditions! It was so great! Then we went down for new years eve and spent the new year with my family! It was great! I LOVE family time!! Then there is always great and fun times with friends too!  But everything is going well! And hopefully I willl get Jake on here to spare some thoughts, one of these days:)
